Healed people, heal people

No matter what, there will always be people who will hurt you. They will take all that you are and rip you into pieces and they won’t stick around to watch where the pieces land. Through the breakdown, you’ll learn you’re strong and that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you. You will be introduced to a faith that you never knew existed and the person’s name no longer becomes relevant, the growth that they introduced you to will be all that remains. The lessons will outweigh the pain, eventually, so if you are in the midst, hold on, your testimony is coming.

Stand strong in who you are and who God made you to be. Let go and let God…He is more than able.

Let go… how would you or your life be different if you learned to let go of things or people that have already let go of you? It’s not going to be easy, but it’s going to be worth it.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of
the Lord for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:1-3

From relationships long gone, to old grudges, to regrets, to all the ‘could’ve’ and ‘should’ve’, to the dead friendships you still hang on to… -Dr. Steve Maraboli

Love didn’t hurt you. Someone who doesn’t know how to love, hurt you, and you confused the two. -Tony Gaskins Jr.

All the negative things in your life were not God punishing you. He was trusting you with it. If you can be trusted with pain, you can be trusted with treasure. The treasure comes from the pain. It comes from the process. –John Gray

I’m not building a castle or a monument; I’m building a soul and a family. I’ll tell stories all my life, writing on napkins and on the backs of receipts, or in books if they let me, but this is the promise I make to my God: I will never again be so careless, so cavalier with the body and soul you’ve given me. –Shauna Niequist
